Kai Hibbard is a loser. Well, she was a loser; she lost a ton of weight on the show The Biggest Loser. Now she’s written a book, Too Fat, Too Thin, Can’t Win. In the book she rants against the show for “fat shaming” and abuse at the hands of the trainers. Oh, and her hair fell out. I guess from the stress, the extreme dieting? I guess I’ll have to buy the book to find out, on second thought, I don’t need to know.
Did Kai never watch the show before she tried out for it? I’m thinking that perhaps, maybe, most likely, she did. I’m thinking that she had watched the show and knew exactly how it all worked. It is a game show after all, where obese people are made to lose a lot of weight in a very short time…I’ve watched the show. People complain and cry and whine and vomit, and there are the trainers who cajole and encourage and yell and yell, and yell some more, and it’s all very entertaining TV, if you like watching really fat people, cry and stumble, vomit, and fall, complain and whine, and then jump for joy when the scale shows they’ve dropped, eight, ten, twelve, pounds in a single week.
So Kai goes on the show and gets treated like everyone she’s ever watched on the show, and now she’s complaining about it? I’m thinking she could have left the show at any time if the abuse was too much to take. I’m thinking she lost a lot of weight while being supervised by doctors and trainers, and if she’d had to pay for those doctors and trainers, well it would have cost a great deal. I’m thinking Kai knew exactly what she signed up for, got exactly what she signed up for, and now she’s going to profit by complaining about her choice to be on a reality show where she knew perfectly well what was going to happen. Wow.
I have no doubt that she’ll make a pretty penny with her tell-all tale of the abuse at the hands of The Biggest Loser; people love to read dirt.
Talk about a poor loser.
