Yesterday two people were shot in cold blood on live TV in Virginia. The shooter then posted the killings on social media, and later took his own life.
I can’t think of anything more horrifying or terrible, unfair, unjust, cruel, or unbelievable than this.
I don’t how he got the gun he used, what Virginia’s gun laws are, I don’t think it matters, what does matter is a crazy person was able to get a gun. It happens all the time now- armed crazy people taking out their revenge on innocent people, and there seems to be no end to it.
So how about tougher gun laws? Oh wait, I know we all have a right to bear arms and no one can take that right away from us, and wow, that was probably a really good thing back in the day, but now? It just seems kind of crazy to me that guns are so easily available.
The gun lobby is one tough son-of-a-bitch, and I get that there are a lot of Americans who don’t want their rights taken away from them, but come on people, we live in a time of crazy people who shoot and kill on live TV…doesn’t that change things?
